The SSL-Gate is a portal to get connections to others sites over the your university.

In order to gain access, you must identify yourself with your matriculation number or IDM-account and your password.

Only the browser tab or window is connected, links or search fields open new connected tabs or windows. Sometimes it can happen, that those connections fail, especiallywhen using databases.

Via the SSL-Gate you get also access to the portals of your universities. There are links to importent sites as well as to the library.

Students of the University of Lübeck can also install a VPN. This is importent for the use of databases.

Campus licences are access authorizations for different electronic resources (e-books, e-journals, databases) or software, which can only be used on the campus and/or by members (student or employees) of a university.

To get access from outside the campus you need to verify yourself.

• DBIS Datenbank-Informationssystem
  directory of all licenced databases and an overview of many free-to-use databases.
• EZB electronic journals library
  directory of all licenced e-journals and an overview of many free-to-use e-journals
• Scopus
  database for thematic search of journal articles. Hint: The direct links inside of the database towards the articles does not work sometimes because of different licences of the University and the Technische Hochschule.
• Web of Science
  Similar databank for a thematic search. Access only through the University.
• WISO
  extensive database: contains fill texts of different journals and e-books and bibliographic notes. Access only through the Technische Hochschule.
